MBT Placement Paper 15th MARCH AT BANGALORE
TECH MAHINDRA PAPER ON 15th MARCH AT BANGALORE
Hi this is Sangeetha from SJBIT, Bangalore. I got placed in Tech Mahindra on 15th march 2007.
The aptitude they conducted was online. Make sure you answer one section completely and go back. Do not switch to another section before completing as you will lose those questions and finally land up with new set of questions.
There was no negative marking and its mandatory to attend all questions no matter you really know it or not.
The aptitude consisted of 5 sections:
1.Non verbal.
2.Verbal
3.English grammer(Fill in the blanks).
4.Some englist test(multiple choice, some meanings, acronyms, opposites etc).
5.English comprehension just match up appropriate word in passage based on the question).
I took up third section first and then fourth and fifth as i was basically confident in English. Later i took up verbal as it was timeconsuming. Then I completed first section which was easier as compared to second section.
For the first and second section refer to RS Aggarwal. Its more than enough. Other three sections will be simple depending on your general English knowledge.
After 1 hour aptitude results came. Soon after that i was called for technical round. It was a bit tough, but the interviewer was very jovial, encouraging and understanding. This round was pulled upto 1 hour.
First thing they asked in this round was what all subjects did you study. I named them all. Later he asked me to rate myself out of five for each subject. I rated myself 4 on c,c++, rest all 3.
I was asked questions right from c to Software engineering. He also asked me some HR questions like - Tell about your parents, education, strength, weakness, hobbies, achievements and about project.
I was the first to be called for HR. This was a very nice and relaxing round. He asked me about myself, why Tech Mahindra, am I willing to relocate, some questions based on resume, small puzzles, etc. It was fun. I completed all the three rounds withing 4:30 and te results were announced at 8.
