Atlast i got placed in infotech
they actually have 4 rounds of selection
the first round is the aptitude which comprises of 36 questions
just figures and no rs agarwal quants or vocabs so dont waste time
there is nothing you can actually prepare for the apti
but in case u want to get a feel of it go through rs agarwal verbal and non
verbal reasoning figure matrix
just 4 pages and that is more than enough to give you an idea
the cut off may vary for every college
but my score was just 26 which i came to know during my interview
the second round is the gd.
in my group there were 20 of us and we were given totally 20 minutes
my topic was if reservation should be there in education system
they are not bothered about your views but only how you talk and how effectively
you communicate in a group
try to be loud but not harsh
in my group 8 of us were selected of which 3 of us made to the finals
even if you dont get a chance to speak they give you a chance and also a chance
for everyone to summarise(u r just give 20 seconds)
the third round was during the next day in their own campus
they were really really kind to us
the interview was really interesting
my interviewer asked me about the subject i liked during my 7 sem
i am an ece student
so i said i like antenna and optical
he asked me about the various types of antennae and asked me to explain yagi uda
array......i initially had some difficulty.....but somehow managed to get him
out of this optic
and then a few basic questions in optical fiber comm
and then he moved to C.....especially to pointers....he asked me to write a
program using pointers in arrays...i said i am very doubtful but anyways i will
try...even though a few mistakes were there i explained him the concept and
corrected my mistakes.......and he asked me about my previous interview
experiences and thats it
the final round was the hr
which is just a formality if you get through technical round
we were asked to come to their campus by 2 afternoon
it was not an interview but just an interaction with the center head......and
then the results were announced immediately
so friends all the best
believe in yourself
and be confident
only these two thing can help us achive our goals
never loose heart
this was infact my 5 company to the campus
