3.A person started two watches, he observed that after one hour, one watch gains 1 min/hr and the second watch loses 2 min/hr. After how much time will the two watches have a difference of one hour.

R= J+26.........(4).....D= R+26.....(5)
from (2) & (5)
A+76 = R+26 = D
hence R - A = 50..........(6)
now from (3) & (6) R = 72
hence....A=22 , S= 100, D= 98, J = 46...
total : S+D+R+J+A = 100+98+50+46+22= 338

x=31
here (x-1) sice...it is a cyclic race...and -1 is the particular person...
