SYNTEL PAPER ON 9th JULY AT HYDERABAD
Hi guys! let me share my experience in syntel recruitment . Its consists of three sections generally , they are
WRITTEN TEST TECH ROUND HR ROUND
WRITTEN TEST: It has two sections , reasoning(25 cutoff 13) and verbal(15 cutoff 8) (a) Reasoning includes 1. blood relation puzzle ( 5 ques ) 2. a puzzle related to sports ( 5ques little bit logical ) 3. coding and decoding the english alphabets ( 2 were tough and 3 were easy) 4. L means -, M means + etc we have to find the answer (easy do them first) 5. I donot remember these ( these are related to datasufficiency type , these are not related mathematical data but logical thinking
(b) verbal includes a paragraph is given and contains 5 empty blanks ,and each blank has four words, we have to choose the correct word ,( these are very confusing) correction of sentences ( rules of grammars like not only but also statements and appropriate preposition before word like considered etc) situation analysis ( here a situation is given and we have to choose the option which is the best remedy for the situation)
GD AND HR: Many students who were selected from different coll came for interview on a separate date , so there were many students .to eliminate students they conducted gd. out of 10 students, they selected 4 to 7 people. This was an elimination round it was like survival of the fittest..
First we were asked to introduce ourselves and then we were given a topic ( they were general topics like education in india ) results were given immediately.
TECHNICAL ROUND: This is was very easy they asked question related to our branch ( very basic like draw the zener diode , nand gate , jk flipflop etc ) and they were checking the basics og c language. if u answer c ques then u are in.
So I think that written round is the main hurdle , be careful with verbal and if u have good communication skills then u will be in , dont forget to brush up ur basics.
